Books R My Waifu

I love books! Of any kind really! As long as they're interesting. Most preferably though fiction as in sci fi fantasy etc.

Good read for October

Six of Crows - Leigh Bardugo

I fell in love with all the characters~ Especially Inej and Kaz!! They were meant for each other! And I swear Wylan and Jesper has this thing. If they don't have a thing in the next book, imma be upset. Still though, it was so much fun reading the thrilling adventure about six criminal, and it was soooo unique compared to the other teenage novels. Can't wait to read the second book!!

Woah!! Short,but Amazing!!

The Little Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Katherine Woods

As I said in the title, this book was short, but it was also very cute and very amazing. While I read it, I kept imagining a boy small as a sparrow walking around instead of a human sized child. And this boy I'm guessing represent the narrator's childhood or heart, and it's as if the child in him died at the end, but will always be somewhere in his memories.

And boy, did this make me think about my own self. Such as am I like those grownup, will I be like them, or how will I be in the far future? I never want to become like the grown up in the book. But I also noticed after reading this, is that society keeps pushing us to be like this. I hope I will not be like any of them.

Ella Enchanted - Gail Carson Levine

Good; Awww this was cute! I've heard of this fairytale before, but never really heard the whole thing. Just the main. I loved Char x Ella the moment I read it. <3

Bad ;The Cinderella part kind of made me alittle disappointed since I wanted more originality. :P

Gathering Blue - Lois Lowry

This book was nice. Kira's talent or skill isnt what i was really expecting. Usually when talents are involved with main characters, its always more like painting, singing, sports, or fighting techniques. Ive never really encountered weaving so i thought that was an original. And the thought of everything she went through, im glad shes strong. However, despite all those, there were some minor issues. Again, great story, but there could've been a little more. Such as the song's lyric, Matt's adventure, more emotions from kira, more about how she learned to weave, and more about the robe. Theres a whole lot more i wish there could've been, but i dont know. I havent even read the giver yet. I havent read the giver yet nor did i know this was related to it. It just seemed different, well based on the covers. My opinions might change if i read it. Otherwise, still, it was a nice book.
